Petya is the visionary force at the helm of Peter Lane Studios. She has been instrumental in transforming Peter Lane Photography into the diverse and comprehensive Peter Lane Studios, enriching our services to include not only photography but also cinematography and fine art photography. Under her guidance, we redefined our studio in 2022 as a family-centred photography and cinematography enterprise, with Petya serving as both the inspiration and the heart of our operations.
In 2024, Petya’s creativity and talent were prominently recognised. She participated in various exhibitions, earned multiple accolades for her video and fine art projects, and was a finalist in the prestigious Association of Photographers (AOP) of Great Britain. Her fine art project “Fall In” received critical acclaim and was featured in the AOP’s annual publication, now available in our online store. Additionally, her video project “Time Grinder” has been widely acknowledged for its artistic merit.
As the dynamic core of our company, Petya oversees our team of assistants, photographers, and videographers, ensuring seamless collaboration with vendors and managing all aspects of social media, marketing, and client communications. Her expertise also extends to capturing the unique essence of diverse cultural events, specialising in occasions that require the sensitive touch of a female photographer, such as Jewish Simcha.

Petya: Morning coffee, a glass of red wine, gym sessions, the simple joy of flowers and gardening, the beauty of poetry and science fiction, playing the guitar, the soothing melodies of smooth jazz, a love for cats, and writing enchanting children’s fairy tales.
Peter: A fine glass of red wine, coffee exclusively before bed (to ensure restful sleep), gym workouts, running, swimming, smooth jazz, a love for dogs, cats, and fish, immersing myself in psychology books, delving into medical and health research, and crafting and preparing health-focused books and podcasts.

Petya: My daughter, cinematic films that resonate deeply (Wings of Desire or Leon), books and authors that spark inspiration (Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov), art, and photography. I love exploring all possible forms and media to express my vision in creative projects, always drawn to the elegance of simplicity and minimalism.
Peter: My daughter, old movies like The Shawshank Redemption or Beautiful Woman, fine art, and photography. I enjoy working with fisheye lenses to create exaggerated perspectives, exploring symbolism and contrasts, uncovering hidden meanings, and developing expansive panoramic projects.
